When a San Jose, Ca. news reporter Julia Prodis Sulek heard clapping and cheering from in front of her home, she noticed runners slowing thier pace to run up on the sidewalk during this benefit run to say "THANKS FOR YOUR SEVICE" to her neighbor who was out there cheering on the runners.

But the cheering soon ended up being for her neighbor. 95-year-old World War II veteran Joe Bell, who came outside in full military dress to root on the runners. The runners spontaneously ran up to Mr. Bell completely decked out in his U.S. Army Airborne brown uniform and it was even more fitting because the Pat Tillman foundation is named for the late NFL star killed while serving the U.S. Army in Afghanistan in 2002.

Here 's the video.
