TMSG: Utah Mean Creates 'Cat Coolers' To Help Feral Cats Escape Cold

Phillip Rogich's passion project to help feral cats is warming the hearts of many, as well as the cats.

Rogich uses old coolers, and turns them into warm, insulated spaces for feral cats to use during the cold winter months. He says he takes the cooler, drills a hole in it, uses pipe insulation to protect the hole, and then puts straw inside of it for the cats to lay on.

Already Philip has placed a few of the 'cat pads' around his community and feral cats are using it to take refuge. For Philip, he says it's an act of humanity. He told Fox 13 News Utah, "They're living creatures to me, living creatures deserve to have their basic needs met."
