Florida is under a statewide Shelter In Place order, so one when resident named Tom Kane got the call from a friend saying he was out of toilet paper and need it for a #2 emergency., he sprang into action. There was none at the local stores, so Kane thought of a genius idea to get him some rolls.... fly it to him. Kane broke out his drone and strapped a few rolls on a string to it. He then set it off in flight and using his drone camera, flew it to his buddies place.
He documented his heroic effort on video, saying it couldn't have gone better.
"A friend had called me and asked if I had any extra toilet paper that I might spare. They were not able to get out of the house and were concerned about social distancing in the stores. I said to him I will try to rig up something, fly it to your house and make a drop of toilet paper. The idea worked perfectly," Kane told Fox 13 News.
