Just off of her emotional CMA performance, Ingrid Andress revealed why she chose to reinvent her already riveting songs into another compelling work of art.
In an interview with Cody Alan, Ingrid revealed that 2020 led her to do it.
"I think quarantine has given me more time than I would have ever imagined I would have this year," says the "Hearts Like Mine" singer. "So, I got to step back and listen to my old music, and it made me look at every song from a different perspective."
"So much has happened since I wrote them," continued Ingrid. "Even the album title, 'Lady Like' has a completely different meaning to me now. So, I really wanted to rearrange the track order of the album to match the timeline to how I had written them."
"I think that songs are obviously important, but also the order in which you listen to them tells its own story, and I wanted my fans to better understand that emotional journey."
