Two coaches were vying for a Nashville, Tennessee-based duo following a breathtaking cover of a Kacey Musgraves ballad during The Voice blind auditions.

MisterMoon performed the title track of Musgraves’ fifth studio album, “Deeper Well,” when they appeared on the NBC competition show. The best friend duo, Savs and Leah, met there years ago while on a double date. Leah reminisced, “Savs’ not with that guy anymore. She dumped him and kept me!”

“Y’all’s music makes me feel happy (and) light. I love it so much,” Reba McEntire said. “When I was on tour with Kelly Clarkson, when she’d sing her song, I’d sing harmony. When I’d sing my song, she’d sing harmony with me. Because both of us, we’d rather sing harmony than lead any time. So, with your harmonies being so good, I would love to get to work with you so I can just sit there and listen to you all day long.”

McEntire turned her chair for MisterMoon in an effort to add the duo to Team Reba. She competed for MisterMoon against first-time coach Snoop Dogg.

“To be real, I love you ladies’ sisterhood,” Snoop said. “I just love to see that y’all working together like this. So, I would love to have y’all on my team.”

Gwen Stefani praised the duo’s harmonies, and Michael Bublé recounted an iconic Pretty Woman scene before he asked MisterMoon, “who’s your coach going to be?”
