Watch HARDY Reveal Heartfelt Unreleased Ballad With Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert shared a snippet of one of HARDY’s unreleased ballads in a video she shared on Instagram on Tuesday (October 8).

HARDY delivered a rendition of “Dog Years” with Lambert when the two artists took the stage at Lambert’s Music For Mutts benefit concert over the weekend at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tennessee. The show aimed to support shelter animals, and featured a lineup of Lambert, HARDY, Little Big Town, Dan + Shay and Lukas Nelson. MuttNation, with her mom in 2009, and has since raised more than $9 million, per MuttNation’s website. The organization is also currently working to provide relief following Hurricane Helene. Lambert noted in her post on Tuesday how to donate.

“This song is so damn good,” Lambert said of HARDY’s unreleased ballad. “Thanks [HARDY] for singing about rescue dogs to help [MuttNation] save more of em 🐶💕”

HARDY, who released his latest full-length album over the summer, shared that he wrote “Dog Years” in 2013. he said “it was an honor to share this with the crowd at [MuttNation],” and seemingly hinted that it would become available someday: “It’s unreleased so don’t go looking for it…yet.”
