Reba McEntire paid tribute to fellow country legend Willie Nelson with a birthday tribute on Wednesday (April 29). Nelson turned 93.
McEntire, who celebrated her 71st birthday in late March, posted a black-and-white photo of the two country stars on Instagram. She she wrote in her caption: “Happy birthday to one of Country Music’s original [trailblazers], [Willie Nelson]!”
Nelson was born on April 29, 1933 in Abbott, Texas. The singer-songwriter became known for “On the Road Again,” “Always On My Mind,” “Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain,” “Whiskey River,” “City of New Orleans,” “Pancho And Lefty” and many other songs throughout his career. Nelson shared a compilation of clips filmed over the years to offer tips on how to live a long life. He assured, “you can trust me,” in his Instagram caption, crediting his “93 years of experience.”
