Miranda Lambert is getting set for the upcoming Grammy Awards.
Up for three country categories, "Bluebird" is in the running to win Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance, while 'Wildcard' is up for Best Country Album.
Miranda soars with joy when telling Cody Alan about how this song came to be.
"It actually came from a poem," reveals Miranda. "Luke Dick read this line in a poem and group texted me and Natalie, and was like, "We need to write this song." It kind of inspired him, and it was just the line about, "Light in your soul and a bluebird in your heart."
"It's ironic that we wrote it a year and a half ago or longer," reveals the "Kerosene" singer. "And, it's so fitting for right now."
"It's a song that has a little bit of darkness and a tinge of hope, and that's kind of how I am feeling right now, in general," Miranda continues. "I love this song. It was just something different for me. I haven't had a lot of success with singles like this in a long time, so I am very thankful that it's this song at this time in my career."
Miranda has been teasing her plans for the Grammy Awards performance, telling fans to expect "feminine," "beautiful" vibes for her Grammy's "Bluebird" performance.
