Jake Owen offered a glimpse into the next chapter of his career.
The Florida-born country star posted a few photos and a brief video on Wednesday (March 26). Owen, 43, filmed an update while he was on a break from recording vocals in the studio. He said he’s “never been happier in my life to share that I have music coming in the near future,” as he teased the project he made with friend and record producer Shooter Jennings in Los Angeles, California. “It has been the most fulfilling time in my life. …(This is) an excitement that I haven’t had since I was 23 years old as a kid driving to Nashville.”
Owen credited photographer Ryan Smith with “capturing moments of my life that are ingrained in my mind,” as he posted photos on Instagram. He wrote in his caption: “I’ve been doing something special over the last few months that has been an absolute dream for me. I can’t wait to share the journey, the story, and what came of it. I’m really grateful for the people who believe in me and the friends I have. I’m so fired up to share this with you.”
