Amy let her license expire and now she has to take the driving test again.
Amy shared on the Bobby Bones Show that she needed to renew her driver’s license, but instead of doing it before the deadline, she purposely let it expire. Why? Well, the show encouraged her to miss the deadline just to make a bit out of it.
Now the bit has caught up with her. Since she didn’t renew in time, Amy has to retake the entire driving test, both the written and behind-the-wheel parts. She admitted she’s not exactly sure what the process looks like these days, but she’s already regretting going along with the idea. Because her license is expired, Amy has been relying on her passport for ID. She even had to bring it to dinner the other night, and she’ll need it to fly, even domestically. Technically, every time she gets behind the wheel right now, she’s driving illegally.
Amy said it’s not Bobby’s fault because she willingly joined in on the plan, but she called this her biggest “show regret.” The silver lining? Her son is about to start driver’s education school, so maybe they’ll end up going through the process together.
