Lunchbox found himself in a bit of office drama after discovering he wasn’t invited to a recent company outing.
He ran into the head of the building, who casually mentioned a work Top Golf event. Lunchbox was confused, what outing? He hadn’t heard a word about it. When he asked, the head of the building told him he should’ve received an email invite. But according to Lunchbox, that email never showed up in his inbox. Feeling slighted, he immediately suspected he’d been purposely left off the list. After all, he says he’s a big deal in the building, maybe even the biggest, alongside Bobby.
But the mystery didn’t last long. Morgan looked into it and discovered that the invite had been sent to Lunchbox… just not to the email account he actually checks. Turns out it went to one of his other inboxes, and he never saw it. Still, Lunchbox wasn’t satisfied. He argued that someone should’ve personally made sure he got the invite, maybe even sent him an individual one. Bobby and Eddie, however, had their own theory about why Lunchbox might not have been high on the invite list. They joked that he has a habit of bringing his whole family to work events, even when it’s not a “bring your family” kind of thing, and that he’s always on the lookout for free stuff.
In the end, it sounds like this one might have been an honest mix-up, but knowing Lunchbox, he’s not going to let it go anytime soon.
